The couple ideally would be between 18 and 25ish…dating, engaged or newly married…and comfortable in front of the camera. The time frame that we would need you would be between 10:30 and Noon and we’ll be shooting in the downtown Phoenix area. Models will receive a highly stylized photo session as well as 8-10 high resolution digital files with a print release in exchange for their time modeling.

They are always so much fun to work with. I’ve been photographing Chris Snyder‘s family for about 2.5 years now (if you watch the slideshow of images in the blog header…you’ll see Chris holding their littlest man on his shoulder from his newborn session) and I’ve gotten to watch their little ones grow…their youngest from when he was in his beautiful momma’s belly. I work with a lot of MLB players…and I find it so interesting that nearly half of them are catchers! That’s the position that my brother played…so it’s always kind of surreal and fun for me to get a glimpse at what his life may have been like. It’s a good life…it’s a happy picture.

I’m not going to post any family images of recent sessions so that I don’t spoil any holiday cards…but, I wanted to post some fun ones of the kiddos…and of course of mom and dad.

On another note…I’ve been getting a ton of emails asking if there will be anymore Photoshop training webinars coming up…so YES…there will be ONE more Photoshop class before the end of the year. It will either be an evening or weekend class…but, the date has not been determined yet. It will be announced here, on my Facebook page, and through my newsletter. So…be sure to stay posted in one of those places for the information.

Me and a carton of eggs have a lot in common! TWELVE posts! Just twelve. Twelve is bad. Twelve is unacceptable. 2011 has been quite a year for this girl…and probably someday…probably someday very soon…I’ll explain my gross blog neglect…and you’ll understand…hopefully. But…in the meantime…I’ll just say ‘I’m sorry’ for being such a negligent blogger this year…and let all of you wonderful people who are still checking in here…know that this is THE END of the silence! It’s time to dust this thing off! So…here is to THE GREAT BLOG RESURRECTION OF 2011…I hope you’ll stick around!

And now…on to little miss beautiful! She is one of the many gorgeous little girlies and boys that I’ve had the privilege of photographing this year…and she was truly one of the most fabulous girls’ her age that I’ve ever worked with. Such a beautiful girl…inside and out. Boy did we have fun!

If you follow my Facebook Page then you’ll already have probably heard the news…but, I am now offering online Photoshop training…both private training sessions as well as group sessions. There are two upcoming group classes…one is TOMORROW morning and it has ONE spot left! The following week will be the 2nd group class. I’m so excited about these! It’s something that I’ve wanted to offer for a long time, but it’s taken a while to put all the pieces together for it. I’ve done several private training sessions this week…so I wanted to share a few before and afters from those sessions…as well as a few images from our two SENIOR FOCUS WORKSHOPS this past month. The senior workshops have got to have been my favorite workshops so far…I LOVE working with high school seniors…and the attendees at each workshop were all such lovely people! Ya’ll make teaching workshops such a blast! Thank you for making that part of my job so very much fun! The Mini-Workshops will be held from 4pm to 7pm the first day and 10am to 4pm the 2nd day. The first day we will jump RIGHT into styling our models. Kaylie, my Style and Design Assistant, will be instructing on exactly how we consult with our clients and help them pull their ‘looks’ together for their session. From there we will head out to our shooting location for 2 hours of live shooting with the models.

There will be an optional dinner the first night after we finish shooting at a restaurant within walking distance of the studio and the recommended hotel. Dinner is totally optional, but strongly encouraged because it’s a great time of asking questions and for building relationships with the other photographers…and it’s just plain FUN!

The second day we will spend the morning covering marketing, branding, pricing, and products specific to seniors…break for a short working Q&A lunch…and then wrap up our day post-processing.

This will be a FAST paced workshop…like SUPER FAST!…but, PACKED with extremely useful information that will help you take your senior business to an entirely different level!
