and she {blogs}… | Scottsdale Children’s Photographer | Sandi Bradshaw |

What a whirlwind couple of weeks. My family is still in the midst of our first true-blue, extended, for real vacation in almost two years. It’s been so wonderful to put work to the side for the most part for the past week…what a wonderful time we’ve been having with my family in Michigan. This has been the most activity-filled vacation I think I have ever taken. Since arriving here last Wednesday…we’ve driven 14 hours criss-crossing this state from one activity to the next, but it’s been so worth it and so much fun! I’ll share some pictures from our vacation in the next few days.

But…in the meantime I am far, far behind on blogging client sessions. So…first up are three of my favorite little people to photograph. I first met this family a little over a year ago when I got to photograph little Miss M’s 1st birthday party…and a couple of months ago I photographed her 2nd birthday party…and I could not believe how quickly a year had passed…and how much she had changed in that year! A couple of weeks after the party her mom thought it would be a good idea to do a portrait session with all three kids and I’m so glad because it was so nice to get to spend time dedicated to just the kids’ pictures. What a fun bunch of cuties they are…

Well…I am off to meet with the wonderful Jodi Friedman of MCP Actions today…we just might have a little something fun we’re cooking up…and then I will be meeting up with some photographer’s here in the great state of Michigan to teach a mini-workshop geared toward working with seniors. So, I guess I am working a little bit while on vacation, but at least it’s just one day…and I DO *love* my job…can’t compain at all.:o)

‘Til Next Time!

Love, love, love your work! The clarity of your images is just amazing and I am constantly in awe of how you seem to connect with your subjects and get such genuine expressions. I love the first shot of the little girl making such an adorable face, those are the things you want to remember years later. You’re such an inspiration to me!!! Beautiful kids and beautiful work!
